COMMUNITY-WIDE SALE

Trash & Treasures Yard Sales & Business Sidewalk Sale Days

Time to Start Planning
The 16th Annual Community-Wide Trash & Treasures Sales will begin Thursday, June 12th through Sunday, June 15th! Also being held in conjunction with the Yard Sales will be Business Sidewalk Sale Days. Each year there has been over 100 registered participants! Shoppers come from all over to help make your Trash & Treasures sale a success. Thomas Township is looking forward to another successful community event!

Donation Truck
Thomas Township has been working closely with Old Town Christian Outreach Center and Goodwill to provide donation trucks for any leftover goods from your sale. The trucks will be parked at the Public Safety Building located at, 8215 Shields Drive. The trucks are generally available to accept donations on Saturday and Sunday during the sales. PLEASE leave items INSIDE the truck if possible. Do your best to fit items in as tightly as possible to ensure items do not overflow on to the parking lot.

Non Resident Registrations
If you are not a resident of Thomas Township you may still register your sale and it will be displayed in the address list section, however, it may not appear on the map itself. In order to keep the map legible it is kept within the borders of Thomas Township.

Things to Keep In Mind

- This is a community event, so let’s keep the community spirit! Please be considerate of your neighbors and provide parking at your home. Ask if your neighbor would want to stake off their yard so that “shoppers” do not park, or walk through their yard if they do not want them to.

- Please remember to turn your registration in on time to be included on the map! If registrations are not received by May 30th, 2025 by 5p.m. your sale will not be included on the map. There are no exceptions.

- In 2024 we had over 140 sales registered on the Trash & Treasures Map along with 4 Business Sidewalk Sales.

Trash Pickup During The Sales

- Pick-up will begin overnight on Thursday, June 12th due to the congestion that the yard sales cause. This means you must put your trash out before you go to bed Thursday night. If you do not put your trash out Thursday night there is a chance that your trash will not be picked up and MMWA will not come back that week for it.

Please make sure when setting your sale up you leave access to your mailbox for the United States Postal Service.
